The Academic Wino is Getting Married!

In case you have been wondering what I’ve been up to in my life for the last several months, I’ve been preparing for my upcoming wedding to my fiance, Jacob Irwin (he has a personal finance blog BTW–>visit it!–>My Personal Finance Journey).

We’ll be getting married on Saturday the 20th, and departing for our honeymoon to Belize a few days later.  That being said, there obviously won’t be as much activity on the blog or on social media for the next couple of weeks. There will be some featured wine blogger guest posts coming up during the week of the 22nd, which I hope you will enjoy and share with your #winelover friends!

I hope that any comments you make will avoid my spam filter, but in case they do get snagged, there may be a delay in it posting, as once I’m on my honeymoon, my internet access will be hit and miss.  When I do have access, I’ll try to pop in and say “hello” over on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Instagram!  Check in to see what I’m up to!

A received a gift from one of my favorite bloggers, Zelda from The Illustrated Wine!  The Illustrated Wine is a graphic wine blog by a WSET diploma candidate (Zelda), which features all of her own comics, illustrations, and graphics related to all things wine.  I recommend visiting her site by clicking here, and please let her know that The Academic Wino sent you!

Hearing that I was getting married, she created a wine cartoon in my honor.  Today, I present that wonderful gift to you!

Thank you for your patience during these busy few weeks in my personal life, and I hope you enjoy the guest posts and random social media activity!

Cheers!
