Hello readers!
It’s nice to “see” you all again! I just wanted to touch base to let you know that I am wrapping up my maternity leave and will be coming back with new articles starting next week (or the week after if my boys keep me too busy otherwise)!
The past two months have been crazy, but great! Things seem to be going a lot smoother the second time around, despite early trepidation related to my perceived ability to adequately care for two children (which, as it turns out, I can!). While things are always changing with a young baby, we’ve settled into a comfortable new normal and are excited to see what the future brings our little family of four. For example, I have seemingly become an amateur chef with my new Instant Pot that I got for Christmas, and as my mom said, I have already cooked more these past few weeks than I have the last 4+ years I’ve lived in Colorado (which is a fairly accurate statement)!
